My husband and I got married here July 31st, in the Atlantic ballroom. Everything from start to finish was truly the perfect,... most magical day. Lisa whitehead, our coordinator, was fabulous! She supported us through everything we envisioned, and madesure everything was perfect to our liking. The view was incredible and the food was even better! We had filet and scallops andeverybody raved about our dinner. Jenny, the assistant coordinator was incredible! She was a phenomenal assistant and tookimpeccable care of us both during our wedding day. She went above and beyond and kept everything running organized and smoothly.Lisa promised us we would be in good hands during the entire journey, and she kept her word and did not let us down. My husband and I got married at Blue Ocean in August 2022. We were impressed by the venue and the staff the first day we went in... for a tour. We absolutely fell in love with the views and our wedding coordinator was so knowledgeable and responsive that wecould not go anywhere else. Thank you to Amanda Graham for that!!! Fast forward to our wedding year, we did have a change inwedding coordinators but we were informed in a timely manner and had a smooth transition. When we got to meet our newcoordinator, Lisa Whitehead, in person for a planning meeting, Lisa answered every single question we had and we were put atease that this was going to be the most amazing day and Lisa and her staff would make sure that our vision would come to life.And so they did! We had rain on our wedding day and had to switch to an indoor ceremony and obviously as a bride I was sodevastated, but Lisa went above and beyond to make sure that our wedding ceremony was beautiful. We were taken care of all dayup to the minute we left by Lisa, Jenny and Carlos. We cannot say enough good things about this staff! Beautiful venue with lots if options

Nothing can beat the views of this place! However, after booking a date for our July 2022 wedding we had 3 different wedding... coordinators change without our notice. Our new coordinator Lisa Whitehead, was great but there were lots of times that she madethe bridal party feel uncomfortable. I felt like I spent more time helping the vendors what to do next during the weddingbecause my wedding coordinator and vendors were not all on the same page. I would also suggest grabbing your stuff after thewedding and not the next day. Most of my florals got trashed and I never got an apology after being told they were going to packit all up for me to grab the next day. Keep in mind that DCR does not block people from behind your alter. We had beachers justinches from our alter so getting pictures took forever. I wish I knew they didn?t block all the way down to the water cause nowwe may have some pictures with random people in swimsuits. Read more

My husband and I were married in July 2022, the food, drinks and scenery was amazing. On the other hand the event coordinator... was certainly not up to the same standards. Lisa Whitehead was rude to the MOB, talked trash to our guests about our rehearsal,the front desk was unaware of our rehearsal, she locked the doors when my guests were arriving, made my husband wait in hotsummer beach weather with 6 dozen doughnuts outside, and worst of all had tours going on during our entire event. By all meansuse this beautiful space but make sure your event coordinator is NOT LISA!!! Read more
