We seen a huge line and the parking lot was full. Kinda got scared away but found a spot just in time. Walked in and got seated... right away. [Keep in mind that there was 2 of us.] We got chips and salsa served to us. Then we ordered our drinks which werecalled the Duckie death star???? mine was mango ???? and the other was blood orange ????. We ordered green chile enchiladas andred. So very good served with rice and beans! I got so full it was hard to finish the duckie. Also they limit one per customerbtw. Definitely one of the better Mexican restaurants I've had in all of Utah. We need more locations!! ???????????? Read more

Went at a busy time of the day but there was no waiting when we arrived. Food was delicious. Tried their Duckie drink and they... were not stingy with the alcohol. Read more

A must for your SLC night out. To get started I just need two words, Death Star. I can confidently say every table had at least... one of the colorful fishbowl drinks with the rubber duckies. ( I still have my duck on my car’s dash). Went late on a busySaturday night. Once seated the service was super quick and the food was excellent. Read more

It was my first time visiting El Chihuahua and let’s just say, not disappointed! My date got the Shrimp And Avocado Salad and... it was amazing! She got the death star ducky to drink and was plenty as a single drink for the full meal. I got the SteakRanchero with ground and it was amazing! Everything had tons of flavor, and we were pleasantly surprised to have warm freshchips and fresh salsa dropped off when we got there! We’ll definitely be back for sure!! Read more

My sister and I came here for dinner and we loved it! First impression was great. Hostesses we’re so sweet and welcoming and... our waiter was awesome. We both got the duck drinks, which were highly recommended, and they are the best cocktails we’ve hadin Utah. We both got fajitas (chicken and steak) and the food was delicious. Highly recommend this place!:) Read more

I went there after work to meet a friend who is also my mentor as a nurse, and a retired nurse. We both had been through a lot... of loss recently and met for drinks and appetizers. We must have gotten carried away talking and crying, trying to comprehendlife and offer advice. At 10:30 PM a woman who I assume was the manager came to the table and asked if we had seriously beenthere since 5:45 PM. Pretty impossible since I clocked out at 6:20 from the U and with traffic it was a 20-minute drive. But shepretty much grilled us about how long we had been there. We had been looking to make sure there were open tables, so we weren'tkeeping people from being seated. I asked her if she needed us to leave or needed our table and she said that we better havetipped her waitress well after being there so long. We tipped 20$ on a 55$ ticket. We honestly hadn't realized it was almostfour hours. The thing that got me was that when she walked up my friend had tears running down her face from the sadness of herbest friend dying of breast cancer. I have been here several times over the years....not for the food. I wish I would not havesuggested it tonight to my friend, she didn't need that tonight of all nights. I will never go back. Shame on her for treatingpeople that way. I hope it comes full circle. Also, the shrimp appetizers are frozen breaded from a box. The food is lessthan mediocre. That is not just from my reviews. Tomorrow I will be taking the waitress, who must have complained about ourtime there, 400$ for the four hours we must have wasted of her time. And I can only hope that in the future people will betreated with more kindness and respect. Read more
