I was there for the first time. I had Pad Thai and I love it. They used fresh noodle not like other places where the might use... dry noodle. Their Pad Thai is really Authentic unlike other restaurants. I will definitely go back. Read more

First time trying this place, ordered takeout, egg rolls, short rib, Pad Thai Pad Thai smelt and tasted like dirty dish water.... Didnt manage to swallow a bite of it. Literally bed of mushy overcooked noodles with a few slices of beef and carrot on top.Maybe this place just hates people that order Pad Thai, IDK, if thats the case I'd rather have them remove it from the menubecause this was plain disgusting. Overshadowed the short rib, which was pretty good, and the egg rolls which were average. Read more

My husband and I went here for dinner, the food is good and the staff is nice. However, the menu says authentic thai when it is... not. They could had claimed asian fusion instead which would have made me less dissapointed. Larb look like they were trys tohard to look fancy instead of focusing on flavor. Then pumpkin curry and stir fry veggies seemed more general asian then thai. Read more

Really delicious spot. The waiter was very helpful and kind, and we were pleasantly surprised with the speed of our meal. We... ordered the Drunken Noodles with tofu, and the Fried Rice Basil with chicken. The fried rice had a lot of flavor and theserving size was pretty large. Definitely filled me up. The drunken noodles were also full of flavor, and I don?t really liketofu but my wife said it was some of the best she?s had. Food was pretty spicy. We got level 3 (from 1 to 5), and it was plentyhot. If you don?t like spice, don?t test it with a 2. Just get a 1. If you like spice then 2-3 was nice. Anything more probablywouldn?t have been enjoyable. It?s a little pricey. After tip it was in the low $40s, but we have a little bit of leftovers, and the food was really good, so we?d probably return. Read more

Delicious food and great service! My friends and I loved Kao Thai. We ordered Tom Kha soup, which was the best I've ever had -... slightly spicy, tons of chicken and overall scrumptious. For dinner, I had massaman curry with a spice level of 2-3 (I don'trecall which) and it was SO good. My friends got curry with no spice. Comparing the two, I would definitely recommend getting abit of spice, because it made it extra delicious. Our waiter was Jose and he was so kind, funny and attentive. Will definitelybe going back and so glad we found this place. Favorite Thai in SLC! DON'T WALK. RUN! Read more
