The food was good and the seafood was amazingly fresh. I got the prime rib and it was very good. I felt our server wasn't very... friendly and all the waitstaff seemed like they didn't want to be there. I bet they are a little understaffed which probablymakes it difficult. We love Market Street Grill!! This was our first time visiting the downtown location! Super fun for a little celebration!!... Service was fantastic and the halibut was cooked perfectly! I would suggest picking another side besides the rice. I have neverhad great luck with their rice. I tried it again this visit and it was crunchy. That's fine however!! We had plenty of food!!That definitely does not change my rating.... its just rice! We started with the dip as an appetizer... yuuum!! That is our goto! Goodness gracious. What a delicious meal and experience we had at the Market Street Grill. I had the clam chowder soup... (excellent) with the filet mignon (add hollandaise, of course! We are civilized here) and mashed potatoes. The meat was cookedperfectly. Was it a little bit pricey? You get what you pay for here. It was worth every cent. Read more

After walking into the restaurant without looking at reviews I realize we definitely ordered the wrong things. The reviews... mention the steak, oysters, prime rib and those seem to be popular. We got fish and chips and the pasta and both were supersub-par for the price. I’m almost certain I will be hallucinating tonight after eating the Alfredo due to how much nutmeg isin the sauce. It tastes like it’s made with eggnog, I swear. The bread isn’t warm when they bring it to you, and the butteris also cold so it tears the bread up trying to put butter on it. I’m also wondering who cut the slice as it was on a diagonal(knit-picky I know, but this place is expensive!) I absolutely do have to give them that the plating of their food is beautiful.I’d be willing to go back to see if the steak holds any worth but not for the food I tried tonight. Read more
