I randomly stopped here when I was picking something up in this part of town recently. I was pleasantly surprised at how good... the food was and how clean the restaurant was. I had such a good experience that my wife and I drove out again just for thisfood. We both tried something different from the menu and again the food was very good. So far I have tried: Carne AsadaPlate Steak Chimichanga Quesadilla A few tacos Nachos And they were all very good. I somewhat frequently stop at this type ofplace and always hope for this type of find, but rarely find the food end experience to meet what I hope for. The Birria tacos (made of beef , not goat) are really good here , as well as the consomé. I would say that's the best dish of... their menu and that's why I give this place a 4 stars.The tacos de Birria are the real star and the rest are not nearly as good, almost mediocre , I would say.Avoid the Chorizo and the fish.The asada is decent enough.The burritos are nothing specialneither. But , again , the Birria tacos are superb and for that , this place is worth the visit. Plenty of parking around andeasy to reach from I-15. Read more

The portions are very small. I ordered a carnitas and birria taco (2.50 ea) and a side of beans (3.00) and as you can see…very... small. I went around the corner to the taco truck on state and got 2 more tacos for 3.00 because I was still hungry. The tastewas fine but my point is that you can get more bang for your buck elsewhere. I just started working around the corner and I’mtrying all the new food spots in this area and this is one I likely will not return to. Read more
