This place is legit. I had the Belgian waffle with homemade ice cream, homemade whipped cream, and chocolate drizzle. I have... *never* had something this delicious and I don't say that lightly. It may be pricey at first glance but if you consider youdon't have to take a flight to Belgium to have a treat like this then I'd say it's well worth it. It's a good place for a datenight, take your relatives to a nice place night, or just a treat yo self night. I went with my boyfriend and returned a fewdays later with my family so I could share the wealth. My oldest son who isn't fond of sweets devoured the homemade coconutcake. Everything there is homemade and they even have Belgian chocolate imported and sold there. Not sure why they decided toset up shop on San Antonio, much less within 10 minutes of my house. But I sure am thankful they did and that google told methey were nearby. I can't say enough good things about them, even their decor is really cool. Not knowing this place existed, we just happened to see it while driving by today, July 28th and thought we should give it a... try. We only had a few items, but we were so amazed by how fantastic everything tasted. While the items are a bit pricey, theflavor was beyond comprehension. This was an experience. I've been here before but never had their waffles. Well today I decided to stop by and have a waffle... with a scoop of ice cream. The nice gentleman at the cashiers gave me his reccomendation and I'm glad I took them. Read more
Wow, I have no words. Food is absolutely to die for!!! My family and I came here looking for a good desert and boy did we find... some. We ordered the #8 Waffle with Belgium Dark Chocolate. So rich but not too sweet which was served nice and warm. We alsogot Keylime Pie and Crème Brûlée which was very good! Highly recommend coming to support this small business. My wife's sweet tooth can be very persuasive, so we stopped here as first timers. Never heard of this place, so definitely... intrigued. Only two staff in restaurant, so depending on time of day, you may have to set aside more time to eat and relax. Iwent for a simple slice of cheesecake, the Mrs. chose the Belgian waffle. Items took a reasonable amount to get to us as we werethere at a non peak hour which was great. Prices are a bit steep, specifically referring to the waffle. But I am aware thatthese items are not frozen and they use higher quality ingredients to their defense. I did take a bite and it was verydelicious, crunchy exterior with a soft interior not being too sweet. My cheesecake was fine and more of a creamier cheesecake.I personally prefer something a bit more dense but other than that, I was satisfied and have no complaints. Overall, great staffwho do their job well and a great ambiance, I plan on returning. Quality over quantity here, but I think it's for the better,especially for fatties like us who love sweets. 4/5!
