As much as I love this place I won't be going back. Portions are reduced dramatically while the prices are raised. Was charged... for 2 orders of gizzard and the amount I was given could fit in one hand. This has NEVER happened before. Was told it's alwaysbeen like that????. I ordered my food, arrived and they told me someone picked it up already. They told me I had to wait another 10 minutes for... my food. Now I wasn't expecting free food or anything for my inconvenience. But you know what would have been nice? An apology.From anyone. Not the staff, not the manager. Just a simple "You'll have to wait another 10 minutes". I got thirsty so I decidedto order a drink only for them to tell me "I will be with you in a minute, I need to finish this persons order first." The price of this chicken is insane! This is definitely a one and done for me. The chicken taste good, but if I'm going to pay... that much for a meal, I'm going to a nice sit down restaurant. As far as chicken goes, theirs was good, but KFC and Popeyestastes WAY better. Try for yourself and you be the judge. Read more
I have been there three times since the day they opened. Each time we were ripped off. I paid for 15 pieces of chicken got 12. I... paid for a large order of poppers and they didn?t give us any. Each time I swore never go back. However, today I broke my ownvow merely for convenience sake. The time, i bought a family meal, and extra sides. The cost wast $58.37. I checked the numberof boxes, and it looked right. However, i had been robbed again! An entire THIRD of the order was missing. Their phone is offthe hook, as I have been calling for over an hour and only get a busy signal. I CANNOT be the only person this happens to, andit has been every single time i have given them money, they have proven themselves to be untrustworthy. But our favorite part of visiting Bush's Chicken are thepeople. Not just staff, who are great, but even the customers are friendly and welcoming.
