What an underrated gem. At least I hadn?t heard of them before. This is the definition of a 5-star old fashioned! I was stuck... downtown for jury selection and was excited to see an old fashioned burger place on the same block. Courthouse cafeteria burgerjust didn?t sound appealing. The double with cheese and grilled onions was incredible! Fries are old fashioned diner fries, soget or skip those based on what you like. Read more
My husband and I had to go downtown to run an errand and by the time we were done we were thinking of going to eat somewhere... near our house on the north side. I?m so glad I got on yelp to look for a place near us. I got a bacon cheese burger and he gota chicken fried steak. The food was SO good. My burger tasted like what I imagine the burgers on Bob?s Burgers would taste likelol. The cashier was so friendly too. I definitely want to go back soon to try some of the other menu items. This little place is really awesome? it has lots of stuff from the good old days hanging around on shelves and the walls. The... food is really great. I had the BLT with onion rings. I took a pork chop plate and a bbq bacon cheeseburger with fries Thepork chops included a side salad and fries. It was delicious and so amazing. The service is amazing and the people are reallyawesome. The food was ready in a matter of minutes. I will absolutely be going back more often now that I have found this place. Read more
I've gone to this place several times before as well as the group I'm with across the street at the courthouse. I have always... been satisfied with what I've ordered. They do have wonderful burgers and other menu items that are just as good as theirburgers. I would gladly give them a five star because of their food is worth it. The only reason for the four stars is becausethey don't have enough venting to clear out the smell of the cooking burgers. It can give me a headache and that's just apersonal thing. Other than that that's just a thing I can brush off. But please stop by they are a wonderful little joint. Read more
