3.5 for this restaurant! The place was pretty neat and you immediately get the Japanese vibes as soon as you get in. They have... outdoor and indoor sitting. They also play anime on their TV and they sell snacks which will welcome you as soon as you get in.Their snacks prices are so much reasonable and affordable than the other asian store in San Antonio. The staff were kind andattentive, easily to communicate and we didn?t really have any issue. Food - the food was okay, you get more meat or chasu intheir ramen but includes so much fat than lean meat. The broth is really important in ramen, their Hero Ramen was not somethingI will crave but will eat it again if ever we get back to this place. With the cooler weather, we wanted to have something warm so we looked for a Ramen place with outdoor seating. When I messaged... to ask on Facebook about the outdoor seating, the person replied to simply ask when we're ordering. Thankfully, theyaccommodated us. My husband and I both ordered the Hero's Tonkotsu Ramen. I split the bowl with my Dad. The broth was good andnot salty, which is what we were looking for. We also had the seaweed salad and the Salmon Lover Bowl. The portions weregenerous that we took most of the salmon and seaweed salad home. The Ramen was excellent, the salmon was just ok. I love the little Japanese snack store area and the wall of claw machines. Really cool! We ordered two things of sushi roll,... takoyaki, mini beef bowl and spicy hero's ramen. Ramen came in a tiny bowl, perfect flavouring and good amount of spice. The eggwas perfectly cooked, a little goey on the inside. I like how the meat was blowtorched you can taste it. The sushi wasn't thatgreat. If you have a small menu of items, you can do more than just mediocre tasting sushi. Gotta be bold! Do some mango softshell crab or something. Beef bowl was short on beef. Takoyaki could be cooked just a liiitle bit longer but tasted good!! Lovethe octopus inside. I'd want to try other sushi/ramen restaurants. Service was great! Read more
