Good food and nice atmosphere! I highly recommend going during Happy Hour when there are excellent specials for both drinks and... food - great for ordering several small plates and sharing with friends and family. Read more
We had such an an amazing experience here. Victoria was an awesome host and the service was second to none! This was my first... time here and she made it a memorable memory for my family. The food that she recommended was fantastic, the unsweetened teawent down very smooth and my goodness we left full. Thanks again for the extremely hot horse radish and heartburn. Went to Kona today (La Cantera)since my wife had been wanting to go. First of all, prices are not reasonable for the amount of... food, flavor and service. This place is extremely over rated. As for the service, we were seated quickly, the waitress was nicebut forgetful. We asked for mayo when we ordered and it never came with our food. I ordered a Rocky Mountain Omelet, this wassupposed to come with breakfast potatoes and since they were out of them, mind you; it was opening hours, I opted for fries.These fries were cold, soft and tasteless, the omelet was cold as well with no flavor. My wife ordered a chicken sandwich, thisalso came with fries, in which did not come to the table until she was practically half way through with her sandwich. Her frieswhere over cooked, they were crunchy and tasted like lays potato chips with out the flavor. The Diet Coke was over carbonatedand water tasted dirty. I do not recommend this place, and we will not be returning. For $40, I could have just stayed home andcooked. Read more

Seriously kind of disappointed. It was my first time going to Kona Grill at la Cantera but I don't think I will go back. First... because the price was too high compared to the amount of food served. 1-$17 for 6 small potstickers. 2-We had to order shrimpfried rice, only to receive shrimps straight out of the bag, which was not even cooked together with the fried rice, sotasteless. 3-The sushi tasted good even though It does not make you full. That's the reason I gave a 3 stars rating. 4-Thechicken sandwich had no seasoning on the chicken, but the bacon was good. The place was packed, but I was wondering why. Maybebecause of the alcohol (lol) because the food was terrible. I usually do not like leaving bad reviews, but I have to. We spentso much money ($105 plus tips to eat snacks) and had to go to another restaurant to eat after we were done at Kona Grill. Read more
