Always seems to be working on this side of town so decided to give Poppys a try. Must admit that it exceeded my expectations as... the pizza was delicious and my cheese bread was on point. No real complaints about my meal and the staff is awesome. Only thingkeeping them from my "Certified Mad Good " rating were the wings, as they definitely could have had more flavor. There's a lot of good reasons Poppys Pizza is one of the highest rated pizza places in San Antonio. The service was wonderful.... Everyone was super nice and helpful and I want to especially recognize Pete for helping to create a memorable experience. Pete'sfriendly and upbeat attitude put everyone in a great frame of mind for dinner and low-key reminded us how great people servinggreat food can have a lasting impact on us. And all the food was seriously fantastic. The chicken wings were perfectly cooked,the pizza was better than any pizza we've had in the last year, the atmosphere was family friendly and the restaurant was superclean. The food was absolutely ????% on point??From the customer service to the casual atmosphere... felt like we were eating at a New... York eatery. The quality of the food was amazing!!!
