I've been coming to Ruthies for almost a decade now. Even moved out of the area and would still make it out to my favorite taco... spot. HOWEVER just like any place of business and staff it changes through time. Not a problem. As of the past 6 months there'sbeen a female waitress that continues to harass me and refuses to leave me alone. I've asked multiple time please I don't feelcomfortable with you taking my order and she continues to persist. There was even a time where I came in there with mygirlfriend and we where being helped by a different waitor she STILL took over the order. To clarify she's not harassing me in aflirtatious way. When I first encountered her she gave me absolutely terrible service and I was the only individual in therestaurant. She didn't refill my coffee and or water becauseshe was busy talkingto the register employee. Whatever I didn'tthink much of it other then she's new. The next time there was about 2 more parties there SAME THING. Still didn't say anything.The third time it happened again and I respectfully asked if she stops serving me going forward. After that it was absolutelyterrible everytime I went to RUTHIES. She deliberately would hijack my table from other servers and be extremely extremelyextremely RUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (And 3 "extremely" is saying it lightly) I slowly stopped going there the past few months. Found anew taco spot that's friendly and respectful. After today I know I will never return and or take any of my friends family and Coworkers there like I used to. I don't need the drama nor do I need to be paraded in front of anyone that I bring there to spendMONEY!!!!!!!!! I used to go 2/3 times a week and loved going there. We came for practice and regretfully even though the place has a wonderful feel as family place, the food was not up to snuff. ... They support the blues. In other words, the police and military. Which I think is awesome! While there it was very busy. Itproves that food quality does not equal a good experience. Maybe it was just us. We had a bad breakfast by our expectations.Maybe you'll visit and have a better experience. While there, we saw several police officers dining but again police officersare made of young people who will eat anything. We will not be returning but on the high note, our waiter was a pleasant manwho was having his birthday that day. The way we found out is that he was wearing a $20 bill on the same tag. Read more
I loved the food and that was not the issue. I ordered 2 tacos and coffee ?? and water got my food was out of coffee, and waited... well over 5 min and I finally had to get up and refill my coffee myself along with my water not once but twice. Hopefully theywill get it right the next time. Read more

Good little spot to eat breakfast or lunch. The service is good, the food is quite good. I got the beef Chile relieno special... and it was great. I liked the tomato cream type orange sauce they put on it. Even without cheese it was real good. The rice andbeans, Chile relieno was what I'd consider great tex mex. I recommend. Read more
