I found this place because I was literally looking for a fruteria, but what I found was a hidden treasure. At least, it was to... me. The drink variety is plentiful. I also had a chicken tinga tostada. Best I've ever had! My server was very attentive andknowledgeable of the menu. I followed her recommendation, and was very glad I did. Truly a treasure to the San Antonio Metro area! Authentic cuisine that is surprisingly not busy for as good as food and at such... a low price point. The inside is very nice with moody lighting, homey place settings, and decor everywhere. Patio is just asnicely decorated and thought about. Menu is small but has something for everyone. This is a great place to visit. It's colorful and artsy. Our server, Gabriella, was on point w service and suggestions. We had... really good cucumber jalapeno margaritas on the rocks, queso fundido and guacamole. The corn tortillas and chips are extra good,homemade. Food is phenomenal! We are so glad we made the choice to try The Fruteria here in San Antonio during Spring Break! My partner... and I both loved it! The drinks were made fast, delicious, and were very refreshing! The kitchen crew did a magnificent jobmaking the food! We are so thankful to have Alyssa as our server. Truly spectacular and authentic Mexican food! Was totally blown away by the entire experience. Everything from the service, the... decor, the presentation, and especially the food were amazing. I got the carne asada tacos and my partner got the spicy pulledpork tostada, both were delicious. They also have a very nice selection of margaritas with uniques takes as well. Thosemargaritas were strong, delicious, and actually priced very fair. Can?t wait to come back! Read more
