After driving 3 hours without seeing a single place to stop we stumbled onto the san ardo cafe and we were extremely lucky to do... so. The gentleman who worked there was really nice. The service was on point and the food was delicious. I went with the Carneasada tacos and they were truly some of the best I've had. Definitely recommend if you catch yourself in San Ardo. Read more

I have been driving from Santa Barbara to the Bay Area for over a decade and I've never stopped here, instead choosing to go to... innout. I will not be making that mistake again (unless I'm traveling late at night) The San Ardo burger (cheese burger withfried jalapenos) made me cry tears of pain and joy. The vibes are great too, love the rural small town atmosphere and the owneris super friendly. Oh...and they have boba! Read more
Excellent food. Great place to stop on a road trip on 101. Had fish tacos with a simple sauce that was perfect. The wife was... able to get bean street tacos that she'd been craving for miles. Stopped there during a road trip. Service and food is top notch, even though the interiors are not fancy. We ordered multiple... veg and chicken tacos, chicken super quesadillas and a chicken sandwich, plus coffee. The food was super tasty. It was mentionedthat the restaurant has recently changed owners. Coincidentally the owners have an awesome sense of humor and kept crackingjokes for us. Definitely a must visit if you?re passing around that place. Read more
