Hit this spot before the NLDS #LFGSD! Top notch tequila. Top 5 michelada I've had anywhere. Great...check that, AMAZING... Guacamole. You get a good size portion had to ask for more chips. Really excellent service. Food is mediocre to be honest. Cool that kids eat free under 10 years of age. Drinks were... sugary. Stay away from the Carne Asada tacos. Over cooked and very bland. Also, they put cheese on top, which was odd. Read more

We arrived in San Diego right in the middle of the dia de los muertas celebration And were immediately drawn to Barra Barra. It... was a beautifully decorated and welcoming restaurant. It was a lively and fun atmosphere people of all ages were there Itseemed. They had a trio of musicians going around to the tables which really added to the atmosphere, they were excellent andvery friendly. We ordered the loaded nacho dish as an appetizer everything was fresh and delicious. The food was good but notgreat.
