Overall tasty food and a fun vibe. The vegan Jammin Bennie was amazing, definitely defied my expectations and 1000x than that of... Kindred. The peach pancakes tasted weird to me and I didn?t like them ? some kind of strong cream of tartar/almost baking sodaflavor. That said the people I was with like them, so maybe it?s a me problem. The big downside was how much more expensive thevegan options were ? I don?t know if I would come back given the prices. Read more
1st visit...couldn't have been more pleased. Service was good, water glass never dry, coffee cup never empty (thanks Jacquie).... I'll add photos later (different device). Had the shrimp and grits and potatoes with brussel sprouts and bacon. Shrimp & Gritsserving was very good and loaded with large shrimp....potato bowl was full as well (unique combination but good). There areadditional pics because we returned the next morning. Had the Breakfast Sammie (subbed the sourdough for English muffin) w/jurassic bacon. Very good. They seemed short staffed on this visit so they were running their feet off but they kept up fairlywell. Read more
Our first time here (not local) and we loved it! It was only a 25 min wait at 10:30 am (peak brunch time!) on a Saturday and we... sat in the downtown lounge and had drinks while we waited. The food was amazing! I loved the vegan tres leches pancake special.Great prices too! Read more

Our waitress was awesome, I wish I caught her name. The restaurant has eclectic decor, I loved the design! The high chair was... not safe, needs to be replaced, be careful the buckle is not secure my 7 month old unlatched it 3 times some how just by movingaround. The table wasn't clean when we sat down, so we wiped it ourselves. There was no hostess at the time we entered soanother couple and my family were there waiting about 5 min before we even got a greeting. The restaurant was not busy, it wasa weekday at 10am so likely just less staff. The food was good but I was expecting more based on reviews. My omelet was cookedtoo long and the meat and cheese were just placed in middle, it wasn't cooked into the egg, but it as ok, I had the jalapeñobacon cheddar omelet. My son had the American breakfast sunny side up, he enjoyed it all except his toast was overly toastedmaking it hard for him to bite into the sandwich that he made with the eggs and bacon from the dish. The flight of pancakes wasfantastic, Oreo and strawberry cream cheese pancakes were great. The churro pancake didn't taste different from a plain pancakeaccording to my kids. The grits were fantastic, creamy and flavorful. I ordered chai tea latte, it was ok but not much Chaiflavor, it needed more of the Chai spice. Wonderful option for a large group. The bathrooms were not clean for it being 10am,poor ventilation in bathroom I'd suggest an air freshener or hourly cleaning may have helped the smell. Read more
