I love this place. Fantastic food & great prices. They outdid themselves today, best bean tostada I've had in a while.
I’ve never had an issue here, unlike some of the other reviewers (not to imply their concerns aren’t valid). I also really... like their Chula Vista location off of Broadway. Castaneda’s is great because it’s a low-grease Mexican spot that tastesfresh consistently. I love the California burrito and the achiote chicken burrito too. Been going to this place numerous times and tonight 8/22/22, my son's Cali Burrito had 3 toothpicks in his burrito. Thankful he... didn't swallow them. Will no longer be giving them my business. Recommend everyone go elsewhere if they're concerned about notswallowing a foreign object. Read more
THEY CHARGE YOU TO USE A CREDIT CARD. I used to come here 3 or 4 days a week since I work right down the street. After seeing... my c.c. statement and having a recent receipt in hand. They was a 3 and half percent difference in price. I use my c.c for thepoints. It's fine if the owner wants to be a cheap business man but make sure you have a sign up in your business stating thatyou're cheap and the service charge will be passed on to your customers. Very sneaky of you. The amount of money you saved,costed you a loyal customer. So use cash only or be ready to have a 3.5 percent increase in price. The customer service is beyond grade A quality, they always greet you with a smile, energetic and helpful. The food is fresh... and made well, every single time. And the agua frecas are always on point too!!! It's hard for me to stay away because of theseoutstanding qualities.
