So happy with my birthday celebration at this restaurant! My husband loves seafood, I only eat meat. This place offered the best... of both! The signature cocktail is delicious, the seafood is wonderful, and the streak... Oh, the steak! It's hard to put atwist on it, but this place managed to surprise me with the parmesan horseradish crust. Wonderful twist that kept thingsinteresting. We have never been to Eddie V’s before. We were in San Diego for a certain event and decided to walk up and see if we could... get a table. We had to come back in a hour and we were seated in the bar area but we walked up! If you know you are going toa restaurant make a reservation. Since we were seated in the bar area, there was a jazz trio/ quartet that was excellent. My husband ordered the caviar appetizer and was very happy. The truffle Mac and cheese came with shaved black truffles on top. I had the warm goat cheese and arugula salad and the scallops with citrus as my For the dessert my husband had the moltenchocolate cake and I had cream brûlée that came with two chocolate chocolate chip cookies. The desserts were great. I wouldgo back for dessert and the live entertainment. However the restaurant was not very accommodating if you have a food allergies. Read more
