I don?t even know where to begin to describe how delicious and wonderful the food is. Get the pupusa and dress that bad boy in... the heavenly pickled cabbage. (Everything pictured below was incredible but my current food coma has forgetting the name of whatI ordered.) Read more

One of my favorite places to come eat it. If you never tried this place I highly recommend. The Pupusa?s are the best ever,... there Carne asada is amazing including best homemade tortillas. Love the beans they have and pickled cabbage. One of the besthot sauces also. It?s worth the wait for amazing fresh prepared food. Read more

Terrible experience + service. But the food here is delicious. The pupusas were great along with baleadas de carne asada were... good. This review is about the service and wait time. We were seated and ordered. A family beside us came after us along with afew other people arriving at other tables after we had ordered. They were all given their drinks before us. Then their foodarrived before us as well. We didn?t get our drinks until 40 minutes of waiting. Then our food arrived 30 minutes later. When wepaid, we kindly told the person up front along with the waiter that we would have appreciated a heads up about the food and waittime and that we didn?t understand why families of 4 or more got their food sooner and before us when all we ordered were 4small items. The hostess and waiter really didn?t seem to care about us and downplayed our thoughts and concerns as if it wasn?ttheir problem. Again, the food here is great and you should most definitely give it a try. I just wanted to voice mydisappointment about the lack of service, courtesy, respect for restaurant patrons and in general, kindness. If you go here, I?dhighly recommend getting take out instead and if you dine in, I am giving you the courtesy to let you know it will take a longtime to get your food. This was my first and last time ever going to this place. Hopefully they treat you with the respect andkindness you deserve and that you and your family?s order doesn?t get skipped and ignored like we were. I hope enjoy thedelicious food, which is truly the only positive, good and highlight of this place. Read more

Top, top, top San Diego spot for guisado de res (beef stew). Absolutely excellent. Hot plates, not warm. Perfectly seasoned,... tender beef in the perfect amount of tomato-based gravy. I?m coming back tomorrow, but for dessert let me go ahead and get apollo todos pupusa to go. Read more
