I am so disappointed I drove all the way to the Mission Valley location simply because SDSU was closed and this one was supposed... to be open at 7 AM upon arrival at 7:16 AM. It was good. More than one type of açai bowl, w/ subtle variations, like pitaya added, or some extra vitamin mix.. Did not like... the added tip space provided on the receipt. You stand in line & order: there aren't wait staff. The prices are a bit high.They were out of fresh shaved. coconut when we arrived. There was a cute boy who was running the cash register & taking paymentsHe was only about 9 or 10- it was cute .. But idk if it was a good idea. They could NOT accept cash. Anyone giving everbowl acai bowls 5 stars has never had a decent acai bowl. I?ve been to a few locations and the quality is... always bad. I often find myself picking out freezer burnt fruit. Todays trip to mission valley takes the cake though. I wasserved a bowl with visibly rancid kiwis!!! They were mush and discolored and you could smell that they were expired. Are youremployees trained on the hazards of consuming expired food? If so, surely they wouldn?t be serving it. What a waste of money.Lesson learned with everbowl. Yuck!! Read more
Come by this nice little spot for your next acai bowl! Pooch friendly so bring your dogs with you! Limited seating both indoor... and outdoor but haven't had much trouble finding a seat whenever I come. I like the EVERBOWL which is the classic acai bowl withfruit toppings. There are other bowls with different bases, some with peanut butter mixed with acai, some with added vanilla andcacao mixed. If you want anything else added to your bowl that's not on the menu, then add $2 to create your own bowl. Honestly,it's a little pricey for an acai bowl($10 for a regular sized bowl plus tax). Ok. These bowls are NOT good. Again bowls are my fav thing ever and there was not enough Acai in it at all and it was almost... like shimmy eating just the toppings.
