I haven't been here in almost a decade when the belly dancers would perform. Not sure if they still do. I arrived on a Saturday... around 5ish. Seating was immediate. You know what was also immediate? The owner came to my table to greet me and ask me about myday. Interestingly, she did that for all the tables. I am mostly impressed with how the beautiful tropical plants inside therestaurant, alongside the street side block the eyesore of traffic. And no gnats! The inside tables have white table clothcoverings while the patio/inside have wood tables with no cloths. I ordered the chicken grilled kebab dinner plate. There arechoices of chicken like broiled, grilled, and boiled. Anyhoot, the cool feature is the plating of the kebab without the stick.Yum. And the plating is so appealing that even the waitress was taking pics of the food. Ha! If you're looking for a nice quite restaurant with an extensive Mediterranean menu, Georgia's Greek Cuisine is your place. ... Last night my husband and I gave up on overcrowded and noisy restaurants in San Diego's Old Town and found this gem within justa mile from that tourist trap, where we found a most friendly and accommodating staff and a nice atmosphere with a low-volumebackground soundtrack. We ordered beef and chicken kebabs with rice and vegetables. Our dinner, which also included a nicesalad and pita bread, arrived shortly and it was juicy, delicious and abundant--good-sized portions for the price. Finally found a real traditional Greek restaurant. Most in SoCal are sub par! This restaurant was the Best Traditional Greek... Food that we have found in California. I honestly recommend this business. I was a little disappointed at the first look, aswe arrived BUT the Food and Owners are the Teal Thing! Thank You, we will be back soon! Read more
