Giuseppe's name makes our families smile thinking back on our wedding day. We hired him and his team for our wedding dinner, our... wedding bar service, and eventually added on a catered rehearsal dinner. All three were fantastic. He and his staff wereincredibly professional and kind not only during the menu planning/tasting process, but in every correspondence leading up tothe wedding and during the wedding itself. Even the young servers kindly wished us congratulations as they rushed between thekitchen and dining room making sure every detail was perfect. His executive chef, Chef Rashi, greeted me as I snuck into Scrippswith a smile and a congratulations. He remembered us from our second tasting, which he knocked out of the park! All of this pluswonderful service for our plated dinner AND the food was PHENOMENAL. People call and text us just to tell us how good the foodwas. Giuseppe and his team worked closely with us to make sure the menu was exactly what we wanted, including making somechanges and customizations to our entrees and helping us sort out our dessert selection. For our rehearsal dinner we had theircatered boxed dinners, which are honestly enough food for two people and this was also absolutely delicious. I couldn't stopeating. And they came delivered right on time in these convenient, temperature control bags. I honestly may drive to Candorsoon and ask him to recreate our wedding dinner just so I can eat it again. Giuseppe catered my Nov 2021 wedding (125 ppl) at a downtown venue in San Diego. There was a change in one of the head managers... so when she left Chef Giuseppe took charge. The venue I booked did not allow open flames of any sort so when Giuseppe found outhe let me know that the menu would have to be altered for quality/freshness. Very understandable, however, a month out and withour menu cards already printed it was a little stressful. Giuseppe offered to pay for new menu cards and ensured me that thefood would be even better than originally planned (and still have an Italian zest to it). All of our guests have commented ondelicious the food was and they loved the family style catering. The day of the wedding the servers were very professional theservers and efficient. We recently used Giuseppe?s Fine Catering to cater our 45-person wedding at La Jolla Woman?s Club. My husband and I decided that... we wanted a brunch wedding, and Giuseppe absolutely delivered on the brunch aspect. Our guests loved the custom omelet bar, andthe French toast was delicious. Plus there were options for everyone - from quiche to mini bagels to fresh fruit + berries to acharcuterie table. Everyone from Giuseppe was incredibly nice and professional. We also appreciated how flexible they were whenwe had to postpone our wedding twice (from April 2020 to November 2020 to November 2021).
