This sandwich place is worth the drive out of your way (even though centrally located). So much variety and one of the best banh... mi sandwiches you will find in San Diego with a great variety of other items. Their homemade bread is probably the best there isin town. Amazing for visitors, a must for locals! Read more
Really yummy banh mi's and spring rolls! I also had their banana sago dessert and it was delicious. We came on a Saturday... morning and didn't end up waiting a very long time for our sandwiches and food. We each had half a sandwich leftover which weate later in the day and it held up nicely. What a pleasant surprise! As one might expect, the traditional bakery goods were FRESHLY baked ? NOT even ?day old.? I got a... chocolate-n-cream croissant and something to drink. It was wonderfully fresh; such a lovely contrast to old coffee shop pastrieswhich tend to be DAYS old. In addition to the bakery goods, the new (4 years) owners are Vietnamese and their cultural goodslooked yummy, for which I will return. I was super disappointed. One of the worst banh mi we?ve had in years. The pickles were overpowering we couldn?t taste anything... else. The baguettes themselves were half baked. I really don?t know how this place is popular. Read more
