These drinks were soo good!! Winter Mellon was pretty sweet at ?normal? sweet so I suggest you ask for less if your not the... biggest sweet tooth. The boba and jellies were the perfect texture. Be sure to be careful when mixing the slush drinks! The capof ours came up a little bit. Read more

So far we've liked everything* Below is how is rank our drinks with my favorite at the top: - Honey milk green tea (70% sweet)... with boba - Caribbean Breeze with boba - Mango snow with boba - Kirby's fruity fusion - good taste, but super sweet (even at 50%sweetness) - Honey guava slush (50% sweet) with boba (and the chia seeds that come with it) - same as Kirby's FF, really sweeteven at 50% * didn't love the following: - Passion Fruit Green Tea (70% sweet) with boba. 3/5 stars. Not that flavorful andkinda meh overall. This sat on the counter for a while before we got the drink because they were busy and our other drink wasstill getting made, so MAYBE it would be better a different time. Read more

I've heard all about Kung Fu Tea from friends on the East Coast, so when it first came to San Diego, I knew I had to give it a... try. I'm happy to share that this tea shop is the complete package - an eye-catching name, stylish interior, and top-notchdrinks! This has quickly become one of my go-to boba places in San Diego, and if you check it out for yourself I'm sure you'llfigure out why. First and foremost, they have a huge selection of drinks (along with some seasonal options). My personalfavorites are their fruit teas, but you can never go wrong with a classic honey black tea either. Pro tip: if you check in onthe yelp app, you can get a free topping (naturally, my favorite is their boba)! Just a couple things to keep in mind - Kung FuTea is located in a complex, and while there's parking it may be challenging to find a spot during busier hours (fortunatelythere's usually a fair amount of street parking in the area). Also with how popular this place is, there's often a line goingout the door (unless you're lucky enough to show up at an off hour). Of note, the music is often quite loud inside the shop, soif you're looking for a space to have a conversation over a cup of boba, this may not be the ideal venue. But really, in thegrand scheme of things, these are minor drawbacks in comparison to the quality of tea you'll receive from here. Needless to say,I highly recommend Kung Fu Tea! Read more

Kung Fu Tea has always been a solid boba tea place for us. We've been here several times and we went today for National Boba... Day! They had some promotions for the day and it was definitely busy at the store. There was a long line but it moved relativelyfast. The boba were warm today and felt very fresh! It was the right amount of chewiness. We got the white grape slush andgrapefruit green tea punch. The white grape slush was great at 50% sweet and very refreshing for the warm day. The grape flavorwas tasty and not an overwhelming grape taste. We're not entirely sure if we received the correct drink for the grapefruit greentea punch since they messed up the order the first time and it was very busy at the store. However, we really enjoyed the drinkwe got. It didn't really taste like grapefruit but it was still a tasty, refreshing drink. We tried several of their milk teasand those were all great choices. This is definitely a go to boba place. Read more
