Marketplace Grille has my favorite chicken in all of San Diego. They somehow manage to grill it to perfection every single time,... slightly crisp on the outside and nice and juicy on the inside. Be sure to eat it immediately to get the full effect. If youtake it to go, it's cooled down too much by the time you get home. Their hummus and shirazi salad are fantastic too with justthe right blend of flavors to make it sing in your mouth! Read more

My family and I are visiting San Diego and luckily discovered this place. The food was great quality and very delicious, and the... service was impeccable. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the nice weather and a variety of dishes. The grilled salmon was myfavourite but the chicken and beef were also a big hit. The appetizers tasted homemade. I ordered the Thanksgiving prepared dinner and it was wonderful. A complete home-made dinner with salad, mushroom turkey gravy,... cinnamon stick and orange peel cranberry sauce, rolls, rustic pumpkin pie, flavorful stuffing, red potatoes and green beans, andthe most succulent juicy tender turkey kabob chunks I have ever tasted. I was very pleasantly surprised with this satisfying andwholesome prepared dinner. I didn't even have to heat it up because I picked it up right after it was prepared on ThanksgivingDay. Very nice staff. Outdoor and indoor seating available. I was given a sample of their delicious chicken soup while I was waiting... for my order. Thanks! Wraps were $14-16. Lamb and chicken were seasoned nicely. Sadly, each wrap only contained a few smallpieces of meat with the remainder just veggies. pickles, etc. Lamb was well done, not medium as ordered. Back in the day theypractically gave you a whole skewer of freshly grilled meat. Hmm. MG does not appear to be the value it once was. Read more
