Food: 4/5 Service and Setting: 3/5 Value: 4/5 The pizza addiction strikes again, this time passed the curfew of many local... businesses. Pizza Hut in Mira Mesa was the only pizza shop open after 10:00pm so I needed to make a journey there to beat thecraving. Strangely enough, I decided to forgo the pizza this time and get me one of their new menu items, the oven-baked pasta.Going to the restaurant about half an hour before close, it was not strange to see that the workers were tired, I would be too.The restaurant itself seemed pretty clean and smelled good. My order was waiting for me and I promptly left after leaving mysignature. Oven-Baked Chicken Alfredo Pasta: 4/5 I honestly was not expecting much, but this oven-baked pasta was great. Thebaked cheese on top was nice and crispy. The noodles to sauce ratio was good and incredibly fresh. The chicken reminded me ofchicken you find in microwavable dinners in the best possible way: moist, well-seasoned, and tender. The dish was rich withoutbeing overly cheesy . They topped the entire plate with the same seasoning that they put on the cheese sticks, which I foundunnecessary and redundant. The portion is great and this could be easily shared between two people as a small meal or a bigmeal for one chungus. I am a chungus. Cheese Sticks: 3/5 When you order the oven-baked pasta, it comes with a side ofbreadsticks. For $1 more, you can upgrade to cheese sticks, which I opted for. The cheese sticks themselves were pretty soft andhad a lot of crispy cheese as well as a layer of that parmesan seasoning on top. As cheesy as it was, there was a surprisinglack of flavor and the overall bread tasted very bland. Also, in the photos on the Pizza Hut website, the cheese sticks lookmuch more like pizza with melted cheese rather than the rather harshly toasted version I was given. The service at this Pizza Hut was good. I had ordered a pickup. The order was accurate and ready on time as it stated on the... online ordering app. The store was able to add an item to the order at the spot and get it ready almost immediately as I hadforgotten to add it at the time of placing the order.
