The food and atmosphere is great myself and my 2 friends really enjoyed ourselves. The only thing keeping me from ranking them... higher is they added a 15% gratuity without our knowing until AFTER we paid. We were a party of 3 and kept to ourselves justenjoying some food before work. We each would have tipped 20$ each but upon learning they took gratuity without our knowing wewere all very confused and miffed. If we were rowdy or a large party it's no big deal but we weren't. Be aware that the restaurant charges a tax rate of 9.3% instead of the regular 7.75% for the San Diego County (see photo). This... happened when I visited the place on Sept 25. When I inquired further, they blamed the card processing system. The staffs saidthat other customers had complained before and that they do not know why the different tax rate. I did not dine in for the allyou can eat and one of the staffs pretty sure was annoyed that I was sharing the ala carte combo food with my partner. The foodwas good though. Just fyi. Read more
It's a popular place and for a good reason. Food is really good. Service is good. Price is great for all you can eat k bbq.... There's a two hour limit but you're trolling if you're eating for two hours. Parking lot is small and difficult to find a spot.So you may have to find street parking a few blocks away and walk there. Food is not bad, about to give 4 stars BUT I was shocked when I see the bill that they already put 15% tip on it, you can?t... change it. I got no problem with the tip but I feel very very uncomfortable about this, feels like I was forced to do so. Read more
