Ooh La, La! We ordered a bread appetizer that was the BEST bread ever. The croissant so flaky, cheese very sweet & chocolate... chip roll tasty. We also got a bread basket w soft butter. Simply put, The French Gourmet is the best! We worked with them for our wedding reception. From our initial inquiry to the day... of our event they were kind, attentive, responsive, professional and wonderful to work with. They worked with us to create amenu that we loved and identify the type of service that best suited us. They did a formal walk through before the wedding toensure all details were accounted for. The night of our wedding they were incredible. The entire staff was so professional,quick and kind to everyone at the event. They helped create a romantic and elegant environment through their food presentationand service. The food was absolutely delicious. Numerous guests made it a point to comment on how good the food was. They alsoworked very well with the many vendors that were part of our event. Weddings are so personal and special, The French Gourmethelped make our day memorable and wonderful! We went for San Diego Restaurant Week 2022. We always like to come back to this cozy little place. We always love ?? their food... and great service. On this time there was a fixed price menu due to the SDRW, but with their best dishes, so it is a good dealto try it. They also have a bakery so you can buy your favorite desserts to take home. Patio was perfectly shaded and had just the right amount of breeze! For San Diego Restaurant Week, the $25 lunch was extremely... worth it!
