I’ve been wanting to try Whomp Burger since they opened but being in North County delayed it. Had out of town family in and a... large group met for lunch on Sunday. In all honestly, this is co-owned by a relative but it was awesome! Between all of us wehad Whomp burgers, deluxe Whomp burgers, Shroomer burger, Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich, wings and a salad. Arguably the best burger in San Diego in it\'s catagory. I\'ve been a huge fan of the friendly in North Park, but I think I... found my new go to spot.\n\nGrilled onions and the whomp sauce really stand out, plus the bun is perfectly grilled to give you abuttery crunch. This is an excellent burger place. I had the Whomp burger with bacon and man, it did not disappoint. Juicy and cheesy, thick... crunchy bacon, and just the right amount of their made-in-house sauce. Some places slather it on there to the point ofridiculousness but these guys put the exact amount on. I love the 80’s Vice City vibe to the place too. Brian was veryfriendly and had some great recommendations for other local places we should hit up too.\n\nThey’ve only been open for 3+months so if you’re in the area I recommend coming to check them out!
