Took my British mother for her 90th birthday. She absolutely loved it
Really quaint cute tea shop; took my mom, my sister and her toddler daughter to have an early Mother's Day celebration. So many... places were booked on the weekends, including them, but weekdays will be the best time to go. They were really accommodatingand versatile in lots of areas: our appointment time (because you can never be on time with a toddler), the RSVP changed from 4adults (someone backed out), and the menu. Tea fare wasn't bad and the price is very affordable per person; the best items weredefinitely the scones. I would suggest offering refills of the devonshire cream, since all 3 adults plus a 4 year old didn'treally have enough... My favorite part of scones is putting on the cream... My scone was a gluten free one, actually -- not badat all; most of the time I would have expected another non-bread substitute, but no, they surprised me with a real scone, whichis awesome. Unfortunately, if you decide on their signature tea fare, there is no gluten free cake, but -- they bumped me down atier, which I appreciate. My sister and mom are not sweet toothed, and found the cake to be too sweet. Personally, I think thisplace is worth a revisit, despite being small, and its situated in a very pleasant down-town area where you can walk around andcheck out nearby shops. Read more

First time here! My niece brought me for my birthday and it was so adorable and quaint. This was her 5th time here and she was... right I loved it here. The mother and daughter team are the cutest and are so sweet. There was people coming in almost every 30minutes while we were there, reservations are a must. The lady even offered us to her hat collection for a picture, it was sofun and made my birthday extra special for me. All the food and teas were delicious and I can?t wait to come back. They evenpray for you here, such a lovely time here, bring your family you will enjoy it. Read more
