Great food! Need a QR scanner to get the menu when sitting inside. It also requires to sign in with an email to get the Menu... document. The Ramen bowls has tasty broth, and great proteins. They also have a vegan Ramen option. Read more
For me, I think the Ramen is good. Takoyaki is ok. Karaage is not good. Chicken katsu is ok. Curry doesn't taste like curry but... is ok. Rice is a big no, cold and sticky. By the way, I like the Yuzu & white peach soda. Read more
My brother and I came at 6:30pm on a Saturday and found ourselves with a short 5 minute wait. We did end up sharing a table with... another party of 2 though because space is a premium here. I opted for garlic miso ramen, mild spicy, with pork shoulder whilemy brother went with curry ramen, medium spicy, with pork belly. At first, I felt like my noodles were a little less than aldente and too chewy, but as I let it soak in the broth a little longer, it did eventually reach the right chewiness for me. Butwhat was most memorable for me was the pork shoulder! Most places slice their char-siu paper thin so to come to a place thatgave (3) solid 1/4" slices was amazing! It was also tender and super flavorful to boot - a must try, in my opinion! I alsotraded one slice to my brother for a slice of the pork belly. It was also very good: tender and melt in your mouthdecadent...but I definitely felt like the char-siu is a winner here. We also opted to share an order of agedashi tofu. Deliveredpiping hot and freshly fried, I thought it hit all the right notes. All in all, as far as ramen goes in San Francisco, I haveto say that Coco's Ramen was probably one of the better ones I've had lately.
