Absolutely horrendous experience. I visited the restaurant with my family as a tourist from Germany to familiarize and ihr the... culinary traditions of Chinese delicacies. As a matter of fact, the first dish fascinated us due to its distinctive and diversesensation, but afterwards, the quality and aromatic taste of the dishes decreased dramatically. We said explicitly that we arepescatarians, signifying that we only eat fish and marine animals but no regular meat. The waiters accepted our culinarypreference with delight and yet, 4 of 9 dishes infused meat!!! This is the worst experience I ever had, we paid more than 1500dollars for one family. I will locate the owner, this is absolute opportunism. I could’ve bought my son all the books hedesired for the birthday for this investment.... Also, the waiter behaved very sympathetically at the beginning but hen wasextremely unfriendly: I’ll never visit this again and can’t recommend it to anyone. Read more

Beware of inflated taxes, fellow customers! We were surprised to see on the bill that taxes were charged not just on food and... beverages, but also on gratuity and on the SF mandate fee. Since we had never seen this in other places (including quite manyhigh-end restaurants), we thought it was probably a one-off mistake so we asked the waiter if he could double check. We didn'tthink it was a big deal, and were taken aback by how defensive the waiter suddenly became -- instead of checking on the numbers, the waiter insisted everything was done the way it was supposed to be and he "didn't manipulate anything." What made us evenmore uncomfortable was that he suddenly raised his voice while talking about these, which is so different from his earliercommunications during the night, as if he was trying to make us feel embarrassed and give in. We had no idea where the defensivebehavior came from -- we didn't think or suggest it was his mistake; we just thought it was a one-off accounting error that wasworth checking. He made us feel that we had to explain ourselves in order for our simple request to be taken seriously, andafter that, it took multiple rounds of communications with the waiter and the boss, about half an hour of waiting, and kind helpfrom other customers (who identified the same issue), for this simple mistake to be corrected. We almost gave up because itwasn't worth the hassle, but decided not to because we felt this sort of mistake (intentional or not) should be put to an end.If you consider going to this place, please beware of this and pay close attention to the bill. This is the main reason why Iam giving it one star -- when you pay $700 to celebrate a special occasion with a loved one, the least you would expect is thatyou are taken seriously if anything goes wrong. But we were hugely disappointed that it wasn't the case. Otherwise, I would giveit three and a half based on the following factors. Food was overall good but not great for the p Read more

Worst experience eve. This is my first time giving a review because it disappoints me so badly. I have been tried a lot of... Michelin restaurants in SF and never imagined I would be served with such distasteful dishes. 1. very pricy. $250+20% servicefee=$300 per person for 9 courses only, which is even more expensive than some Michelin 3 star. It costs us >$700 after tax for2 ppl. 2. Food is way below my expectations. To be fair, they use very high class ingredients, but no fusion at all. Eachingredient/sauce is independent and taste just like the food in fair price Hongkong restaurants. 3. Plain narratives. Thewaitress introduced each course by just naming ingredients and that's it! I have no idea why the Chef comes up with each course, what sparkles and what he wants to deliver. Maybe there is just none. 4. Chines cuisine but no one speaks Chinese. This is justso weird. This restaurant gives me an impression that the owner is just running a business for money. I cannot feel any of hislove and pursuit of delicacies. This attitude disappoints me the most. If you wanna try some fine dinning/Michelin, you haveway more choices in SF at this budget. If you wanna get some Chinese food, you can getter much better options in China town atonly 1/7th of the cost. Read more

As a find ding is good, but as Chinese restaurant, it's not authentic dishes. We do have good time in here and service is fine,... detail presentation is on touch. I would say if you wish to have a fine dining experience this is not a bad choice. Read more
