I have a new found love for Guilin Rice Noodles aka Mifen! So savory, oily, and when you add the crispy pork on top? MOUTH... WATERING. I ordered 2 GRN with Golden Crispy Pork to go! The noodles were bouncy, the flavor wasn't overbearing, and the crispypork was amazing! It was like a tender, savory, bacon-like center with crunchy edges. The dish is quite oily though, so it mayget overwhelming after awhile. I recommend drinking water or some sort of beverage while you eat to prevent yourself from eatingtoo fast or having the oil coat the inside of your mouth. I ended up reheating one of my bowls in the microwave the morningafter and it was still as delicious! Read more

Time & Date: Thursday, Nov 11th 2021 @ 2:15pm Crowd: not busy at all, many open tables Vaccination: proof required to dine... in Ordered: - C3. GRN with Marinated Beef and Golden Crispy Pork - B1. Hot & Sour Soup This is my first time having Guilinnoodles so the dishes were new to me but the flavors very familiar. This restaurant specializes in noodle dishes, with mostbeing dry noodle dishes with a few noodle soup dishes. C3 comes with thinly sliced pieces of beef & crispy pork belly atop abed of rice noodles. Though the noodles looked undressed, I got a strong garlic & umami flavor that was so addicting! The porkbelly slices were crispy all around, it reminds me of bacon but way more tender, less salty, and better! The beef is slightlysalted and thinly sliced. Some other toppings included pickled string bean bits, half a marinated egg, and peanuts. The tablehad 2 sauces, a chili oil & chili paste -- add the chili oil, it'll make the dish taste 10x better! I devoured the whole bowl, but heads up it was pretty oily. It also comes with a small bowl of soup on the side. B1 is one of the few noodle soup disheson the menu, and it was the perfect balance of tangy & spicy. Though the broth looks red, it's really only the layer on top ofthe broth. The spice is a numbing type of spice that's actually not too spicy. I honestly can't tell if this dish had meat, because the minced bits look like meat but it tasted vegetarian. There were plenty of mushrooms & this vegetarian patty thingthat reminded me of tofu. The broth was honestly so addicting and I drank it like I was drinking a bowl of soup lol. Can'tbelieve I've never been here but I'm hooked! I officially love Guilin noodles Read more

Very tasty (big portions!) with a comfortable atmosphere, kind staff, and big window. Beware of the spicy chili sauce! It heats... up the dish quickly. Note that the veg noodles are in pork broth. Read more
