We ordered a lot of items in. Some of our favorites were the pork curry, the miso soup, and the squash cheese eggrolls. And we?d... definitely order them again :-) The portion sizes were large, the delivery was great, and many things looked really nice. Definitely some pros and cons here TLDR: long wait (for fidi standards 25-30 mins) so order ahead, good portions but few misses... on execution I came in and ordered a cheese Katsu sandwich. It come in a nice bento box with sides like pickled veggies,cabbage, Mac salad and crispy mochi balls and even miso soup. The Mac was solid, pickled items were ok but not my distincttaste. The sandwich itself is ok, I love the crunchy and not overbattered katsu BUT the cheese is just too much. There?s so muchof it that It overwhelms the meat flavors though it may help keep it moist. However it took almost 30 mins to get me my orderwhich is significant because most people?s lunches may not be that long? as I was waiting two people went up to ask for theirorder saying they had to leave to go back to work ASAP. HIDDEN GEM INDEED! This place just became my default katsu spot. I ordered cheese katsu sando, added mentaiko sauce. Came with... small bowl of miso soup. The pork is super juicy and tender, cheese is ? cheese. Mentaiko sauce is just amazing! Love it somuch! Great dressing for the salad.
