Updated Review: I went to their special event in August, The Malasa Menu Tasting at the Market on Market. Food is spectacular.... They needed to work out the kinks of customer service but my review is on the food alone. I can't remember all the dishes butwhat I can remember is that I had the Bulalo (beef bone broth), the chicken chicharon, the sushi, and for dessert- the bananaturon. All plated and amazingly prepared. ============================ Original Post (1st Review): Just went over there todayat Crawstation and it's closed with no notice, signs, or explanation. :( Read more

In case this helps anyone avoid confusion, this place shares the space with crawstation. I thought the portions were on the... smaller side. (I find myself saying that a lot. Do I have big appetite or are plates getting smaller?) Flavors were unique. Funplace to try. Prices were reasonable. Read more

The staff is super friendly and feels family run! The dishes are amazing and very filipino/authentic. I had the tinapang bangus... (milkfish). Some of the dishes are smaller portion sized compared to the sizes of usual filipino portions but if you are lookingfor a little bit more to eat, their silogs are bigger portions. Read more

I really want to like this place and support the staff. The lady who runs the place is super friendly. But the food itself is a... bit lacking. Though not from a lack of effort. Sometimes dishes are a bit too sweet, or they run out of garlic fried rice, orthe egg was overcooked, etc. Each time was on separate occasions so there was something good each time as well. But it'sbecoming more difficult to come back given the price and the expectation of better quality. Read more
