Recently remodeled, clean Starbucks, a block from Union Square. This Starbucks location has recently been remodeled and now has... ornate lighting fixtures, a marble countertop, and renewed displays. Cups are labeled with sizes and sweetener packets are alsoin display. Orders are done pretty quickly, with four baristas working when I visited. There is no seating, but Union Square isliterally a block away and has plenty of seating. Like other downtown Starbucks locations, restrooms are not available to thepublic, but there are public restrooms pretty close by. Read more
I walked in and said I had a order pickup. One of the ladies literally gave eye contact and just ignored. Continued to chat it... up with her coworker. Lol, I?m not the type to cause a scene so I kindly waited. Another employee passed by and assisted thecashier, she was about to ignore and pass by as well but I told her if I can pick up my order, then she gave it to me. Honestlythere was no customers in the store except for me and the other that was already being helped by the cashier. I don?t think itwas necessary for me to repeat myself twice though. Convenient location for guests at nearby hotels. Strangely, this Starbucks is located only one block from another busy Starbucks... at Sutter and Stockton. Although dining is currently permitted in this store with proof of Covid-19 vaccination, there are nostools at the window facing counter-style tables. So, it's essentially S.R.O.
