Since we sat at a booth we didn't get served very fast but the server was very nice but we didn't get our check until very late... and then they rushed us to pay other than that the Ambiance is great and that's about it. I think that Vesuvio's is known forwhat they used to be so they are still that type of bar but you have to sit at the bar in order to be served like that Read more
great friendly little bar tucked away on the edge of China Town and North Beach. It was open early on a Friday morning and... provided a respite from the busyness of tourists for bohemian travelers. This is one of the best SF bars. It?s a bar people so just booze. No food just peanuts (literally). You can bring your own food.... It?s an ancient bar with all kinda old architecture all over the place. I don?t think they take reservations. Their drinks areamazing, great cocktails and nice amount of booze inside every drink.
