I got food poisoning from the walnut prawns (honey walnut sauce tasted off so i am thinking it was tainted by bad... mayonnaise) The sesame chicken and crab wontons were fresh and delicious though. Read more

Delicious food especially the orange chicken. Great service too. Came here a couple of times during my stay in San Francisco.

3rd time here. Today's dinner was fine, but this time lacked flavor with kung poa chicken. Mixed veggie and basil eggplant... with chicken and shrimp was good; shrimp was definitely fresh. Read more

Easy to find and convenient Chinese restaurant on Van Ness Ave. Service was decent but not conversational. Food portions were ok... size which makes the prices of each dish ok as well. If you are craving Chinese on a workday lunch break, this is a decentplace. Read more

While staying at the Holiday Inn on Van Ness, I got delivery one night. Ordered Pot stickers (appetizer) and Orange Chicken for... dinner. The pot stickers were the fattest ones I have ever seen. We live on the east cost and these looked like frieddumplings, only 3 times the meat inside. They were ok, but to make them very good or great you need a good dipping sauce. Theygave you a packet of sauce (gyoza sauce). Lame. Therefore, they remain just ok. Those that cannot make a good sauce doing adisservice to their business. (I am used to getting a great home made sauce from my local Chinese restaurant. It isn't hard tomake dipping sauce. I make a decent one, myself when at home. I have yet to crack the recipe of my local place. I have askedfor the recipe, but they won't give it to me.) The Orange Chicken was pretty generic. Breaded chicken in an orange coloredglaze. Not great tasting, not bad tasting... just meh. Delivery was quick and it filled two bellies with no leftovers. Ordered from lunch from Bamboo the day before. They are worlds part in taste/flavor. Bamboo was much better. But Ididn't see pot stickers/dumplings on Bamboo's menu and was in the mood for them. Read more
