A unique experience of a single serve hot pot meal. The mild miso soup broth was delicious. The fish ball was my favorite... ingredient. Presentation was neat, but it was a bit challenging to eat since ingredients were pulled directly from the boilingbroth. It may have been helpful to ask for an extra empty small bowl to transfer cooked food into. A bit of a smaller venue andvery busy, even at 9:30 pm. If you go closer to a typical dinner time, be prepared for a wait. Even the lowest level spice hassome kick, so I suggest leaning toward the lower end of the spice spectrum unless you know you like a lot of heat in yourdishes. Read more

Boiling point has been one of my favorite hotpot places since our first tasted in Southern California in 2014. When we are... craving for small hot pot, this is definitely our top place to go. For lunch you will get one drink for free(black or greentea), including weekend, which is very amazing. Their appetizer was not as impressive as the hotpot when we visited inNovember, 2021. We got House Special and Seafood & Tofu this time. House special has been a very classic and authenticTaiwanese small hotpot flavors. I like how Seafood & Tofu has lots of seafood instead of those typical hotpot seafood ball youwould see in other places. They put too much white pepper in the soup base, so it tasted not as plain as I expected. Gladly theywere able to add soup so it tasted a lot better after that. The white pepper was the main reason I gave 4 stars but overallit?s very good and tasty. Will definitely visit again. Read more
