Third time here, my daughter and I ordered onion pancake and Xiaolongbao. The first time I was here, I was not impressed with... their xiaolongbao as the dough was hard, the second and now the third time back, the dumplings texture got better. The insideof the xiaolongbao is good nonetheless. My daughter gave it 4 stars. Read more

Came here for lunch on a Saturday. There was a 30 minute wait. When we were seated they told us we can order from the QR code... which I thought was pretty cool. I got the beef pan fried dumplings, they were ok. Pork steamed bun. It was ok. Spicy dumplingswere good. Chicken pot stickers were good. Cold noodles were good. They didn't have rice or much of a vegetable selection, justbroccoli and a-choy. The staff was friendly and came by with water frequently. One lady mixed up my daughter sprite for waterand I told her sorry that's sprite. She apologize and brought us another one right away. Over all the dumplings were ok. Nexttime I may just order to go. We are going to lose our jobs to robots ( >?<) You know that kind of service you get that even when you are rooting for humans... to have a purpose in this world, you wish they were replaced by robots? That was the feeling I had "after 20 minutes" in therestaurant. To save you the read, the service was cold and unattentive. When we arrived, we were greeted by the host. It wasdecent. It was like any other Chinese or Vietnamese (C/V) restaurant. She had eye contact, no joy or spirit in their eyes orvoice, and made sure we knew what to do. I can appreciate that. She even obliged when we asked to be seated at another table. 5 stars to host. We sat down and didn't get greeted (as any other budget post-COVID restaurant does) and I got to scan thetable tent QR code which took me to a website that required a phone number to view the menu. Very standard stuff but here iswhere the night starts to turn unpleasant (minus the delicious food). Since we didn't want to provide our phone number westarted looking around for someone to help us with another way to order. We looked and looked around, no one made eye contacttowards our table for at least 5 minutes. What made this frustrating was that we were near the center of the restaurant and thekitchen. I don't get why the staff wasn't doing sweeping passes through the restaurant or (as we say in the Food & Beverageindustry) having their head on a swivel (on the lookout if someone who needs service). What I saw was staff doing one thing atone table and then going back to the kitchen. Why? Sweep the floor!!! You can do more than one thing in a single trip. Youactually conserve time and a ton of energy that way. ( >?<) I also saw staff casually walking ( >?<) (I'm sorry to stereotypehere but this is the only way I can illustrate this) like a mall security guard and with the level of engagement as a parkinglot attendant. (Again, I'm sorry for the stereotype. Please don't think that either one of these occupat Read more

Nice to have Dough Zone expand beyond it's Cupertino location, I will miss the Sichuan quesadillas from the previous... restaurant Came in for dinner on a Sunday, about 70% full, first thing that's noticeable is how quickly everything came.Probably took no more than 5 min for the noodle dishes, then the dim sum a few minutes later. No issues with quality either. The pan fried bao had a lightly crispy bottom and the soup inside was flavorful and adequate in amount. For the spicy wontons, there is a hot and sour version, but only get that if you're looking for a savory and acidic start to your meal. It's adifferent complexity compared to the standard spicy wontons, which is mildly hot, but complemented with a saltiness and mildsweetness Read more

Nice chained dumpling restaurant. The food quality is consistent across different branches, which is not bad. Beef noodle is... great. Others are average. Overall it's a good place to enjoy xlb dumplings and noodles. Read more
