I clearly caught this coffee shop on an off day especially based on previous reviews. I did not order the burrito and since... there was only one person working, I ordered just a latte and an oatmeal. I threw the out meal out and I wound up tossing thecoffee too and walked to another shop instead. The good news is that Libertines is very clean, the decor is great and the guyworking there was fabulous. The other people stopping in were obviously locals so that is a good sign as to quality ofrestaurants. Despite the one miss, I?ll certainly try this spot again when back in SLO. Read more
This is one of the best coffee spots in SLO. The baristas are all so great, the breakfast burritos are (in my opinion) the best.... Not to mention, the coffee. They use slake roasters and their coffee is so good, and always made exactly how you want. (And ifit?s not, all of the baristas are so kind and will help you out) 10/10 would recommend! Read more

He doesn?t know what?s in it, but the pop... of magnanimous chorizo made from the slaughtered unmeats of some sort of ensorcelled vegetable proteins puts him in a trance ofabject surprise and quiet contemplation of the numinous. While he zones out into a tasty oblivion, I sip some somewhatlackluster black drip. Drinkable to be sure, a world above motel or McDonalds breakfast swill, but not the ?3rd Wave? Ethiopianor single origin brew from Bali that?ll knock your socks off if you?re looking for that sort of thing. The open face avo toastwas a spicy treat atop some chunkily mashed avocado and an over easy eggness. A filling way to break fast.
