Great family owned business working hard to bring San Diego some great food for all occasions.
Food was hot. That?s about all I can say. Surf and turf was so boring , I just stopped eating it. No sauce inside. No cheese.... Just dry and full of vegetables. Nothing special about this place. Went there for the taco Tuesday deal and there were a couple of standouts. The carnitas and chicken stood out in terms of... flavor and I would highly recommend them. The fish tacos and Carne asada were good too, but not as good as the first two. The latter in particular is cooked in a somewhat different style but it's not as salty as the usual which I do appreciate. Theattention to details such as generous amount of onions, cilantro, lime slices was also a stand out. There are places that can'teven do these basic components correctly. We?ve ordered from here twice on Uber Eats out of convenience instead of driving to our normal spot. Both times disappointed.... And this was a year apart. The chicken is always dry, the burritos are swimming in cheese and sour cream, cali doesn?t come withpico and an extra charge unlike most other places. The salsas are just hot with no flavor.
