2022 Food Truck Month, Part 5 October is typically one of my favorite months of the year and because of this series I want this... month to end even less than I normally do. I had no idea that many cities don?t appear to welcome food trucks within theirborders, so tracking one down can be a little more challenging than I anticipated. Having said that I?ve really enjoyedsearching for them where they can be found and I absolutely intend to continue this series in October 2023! We caught up with?Tacos Mi Estilo Jalisco? on the corner of Los Vallecitos Boulevard and Bingham Drive in San Marcos, California. Their ?PolloTacos? and ?Pollo Burrito? were both flavorful and enjoyable. Where they really distinguished themselves was with their ?AsadaTacos? and ?Carnitas Burrito.? The fresh ingredients and flavors really complimented one another and made both these itemsexcellent. Not lost on one of our Review Team Members is that the burritos featured whole pinto beans that were not refried(which brought back fond childhood memories of the pinto beans being prepared in a similar manner). Although their is noseating available, there is a small counter for you to utilize while eating. We discovered a picnic table available in front ofthe adjacent motorcycle store that came in handy. Definatelly authentic Mexican tacos!!! We tried Carne Asada, Berrian and AL Pastor! The cilantro , onions and jalapeños made... them excellent! Very tasty, and the Jamaica agua fresca was great! YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS PLACE! Simple, tasty, and well priced. Ordered eight tacos to eat there and ended up ordering four to-go... because they were so good. So tired of the other taco places around here selling mini-burritos, AKA "tacos," for $5. This placeis legit. Can't wait to go back!
