Really good experience. Wait staff and everyone was very good. The beyond burger, Turkey plate and brisket plate were awesome.... Plenty of food and it was good and well priced. If we are back in the area again, we will stop back by. Go see them. Read more
Tried this place for the first time tonight and really enjoyed the view and all the options for seating. They actually have for... portions for seating. Inside, kinda outside, outside and outside next to the water. The food was very well done, seasoned,cooked to perfection and very moist. I don't normally order mashed potatoes, but, for some reason I did tonight. Let's just saythese were different, they came out cold and had a sort of vinegar flavor to them. I wanted to ask my server about them, but wenever saw her again after we ordered food until it was time to get our check. She unfortunately didn't receive a very good tipfor that and she never refilled my drink. If you've never been, go for the food and the view is worth it. We will be back andhope for better service. I enjoyed the frozen dreamsicle and fried pickles. However, the food is bland. The coleslaw tasted like nothing at all and the... chicken strips had no seasoning at all?not even salt. Enjoyed lunch with a group of friends on a Friday. Parking is modest but was adequate when we were there.. you may find it... crowded during weekends. We enjoyed the variety of choices for seating.... inside with air conditioning ...or on the airconditioned deck... or on the open air deck which overlooks the swimming area below. I enjoyed their chicken fried steak platewhich was a generous portion with real mashed potatoes and savory green beans. The steak itself was reasonably tender ...if notfork tender. Other diners enjoyed the mushroom-onion- swiss burger with fries, very tasty, and the Friday special catfish plate.Also, three of us drank a Bloody Mary (one found the house-made Bloody Mary mix too spicy). An appetizer of fried mushrooms wasa tasty starter, as well. Service was prompt and efficient, and prices are reasonable if not inexpensive. Had lunch on the patio by the river. The restaurant was not crowded and parking was available. We started with the fried... mushrooms, I ordered chicken fried steak and it was really delicious, my sister ordered smothered grilled chicken and she foundit delicious. Our server was ready with anything we needed and recommended the Blackened chicken wrap and we will try it nexttime. The view is absolutely lovely. Read more
