I called the San Mateo location and ordered burritos for my family and I. The gentleman who answered is very accommodating and... thorough. Once I arrived for pick up, the same person greeted me with a smile. Im pretty sure this spot is going to be our newfavorite taqueria in San Mateo. Gracias! Read more
4 stars for the food, 2 stars for the service. The ceviche wasn't bad, the torta was the star of the show. I'd come back but... when I know I've got time to burn. EDIT: I came back and had a terrible experience, bringing it down to 2 stars. The servicewas even worse than the first time and the food wasn't good this time - my pastor quesadilla was cold with overcooked meat andwatered down sour cream. My husband ordered a Mexican omelet but got the veggie, and it was overcooked. Our side of guac wasbrown. And it all came to $40. We won't be back. Read more
Delicious!! Maybe my favorite ever plate of camarones al mojo de ajo. Perfect cook, very moist shrimp and so flavorful. Chicken... enchiladas generously filled, loved the sauce, my daughter cleaned her plate. We also watched the Warriors game there! Perfectnight. Read more
I?ve been here twice. First time I was caught off guard by how great the tacos and quesadilla birria were, as well as how... friendly Gerardo was.
