Fantastic art, good wine, and music. Perfect place to spend a relaxing afternoon in the Hondo valley!
What a fabulous experience! I was raised in the area and had grown up studying Peter Hurd art since I was a kid. The gallery is... so intimate and has wall to wall Peter Hurd, Michael Hurd, Henriette Wyeth, and Andrew Wyeth art on display and for sale. To topit off there is a wine tasting room where you can sample wines private labeled with artwork. We loved the wine and Michael Hurd,Peter?s son, visited with us and signed our wine bottles! If you plan on staying in one of the cottages be sure to schedule your visit for when the gallery is open. We were warmly... greeted by the innkeepers and members of the Hurd family. The cottages are peaceful, secluded and antique. The views werespectacular! This place is truly a retreat and a wonderful place to reconnect. Read more
