Would give 0 stars if we could! La Panzano dropped the ball in a way that totally astonished us. We had a big anniversary... event in LA for our business and hired La Panzano for the catering. We were in touch with Joseph (the owner) for months inadvance and everything seemed smooth and ready. He was very friendly and accommodating and communicative pre-event, then on theday of, he texted me his kitchen was flooded 3hrs before the event. I guess he was so frustrated with his situation that he justshut down or something because he did not communicate well. He actually said he could bring some stuff, but that turned out tobe a lie - he completely ghosted. And there was no apology, ever. That was bizarre to me. Not until AFTER the event when herealized how much of a bind he put us in, having to start from square one 3 hours before an event (!!), did he apologize. Itwas truly unbelievable. Part of doing business is dealing with obstacles and finding a way to serve the client no matter what.We would have been happy with SOME sort of solution. They delivered nothing. And they did not communicate well at all. Thankgoodness, we were able to find someone else who was local in the nick of time, but it cost us tons of money. Very sorry excusefor a caterer and a professional. I would stay far away from La Panzano. Read more
