I've been here twice already. First time was with a group of about 10. Service was great and good came out at a reasonable time.... Everyone enjoyed their appetizers along with their main dishes. Yes, quite a bit is simply deep fried seafood, but generallyvery tasty. I had the whole fish, it was tilapia by the way. It was cooked perfectly and I found the crusty skin delicious.Second time I went was just myself and one other guy. We sat at a bar table this time. Service was again quick and attentive. Iagain had the whole fish because I loved it so much the first time. I'll attempt to actually try a different dish next time....Maybe. I obviously recommend this spot. Fun, lively atmosphere. Really good decor, excellent, friendly, and accommodating wait staff. My husband and I went alone but... felt like we were in our "neighborhood hang out." The mussels and chips were great. More than I could finish, though I wouldhave loved a bit more of the broth because it was just so good. My husband's fish and chips were fresh, light and delicious.This will definitely become another "go to"for us. Good job, Pappy's! Read more
I started off loving this place! Came in today 5/25/18 the young lady behind the bar was busy talking to a guy who was paying... her little attention. Berto came to my service and everything was great! He's a great person to have work for you. He picked upon the fact I haven't been served and took admitted action. Our first visit was a hit. We came by Sunday evening around 5pm. Plenty of street parking and they were able to seat us right... away. I ordered the Cobb salad, it was fantastic.
