The food here is amazing! I'm going back for the beef stroganoff. My wife got the filet mignon which was 2 inches high and... cooked perfectly. The atmosphere is definitely of the senior crowd but they're there definitely for the good food and the ladysinging by the bar. But don't let that stop you from going and checking out this gem. I go once a week... trying all the dishes... most of them are awesome... some are just good... none are bad????????
Great food and fair prices.
Sonny's is located in another strip mall on 25th street, just east of Western Avenue. I gave it 4 stars, although if I could... have I would have rated it 3 1/2 stars. Some of the dishes are very good and some of them need some help. I would rate thefood as nicely prepared comfort food. The decor is OK. The service is excellent. If you can, get Barbara as your server. She's a sweetheart. Read more
