Little Venice, Sand Springs. Run. Don?t walk- RUN! Do not let the Sand Springs address detour you. It?s a 10-12 drive from... downtown and right off the interstate. It?s a charming little place that seats 65. It?s has a wonderful ambiance and the food isfresh (nothing frozen and seafood is flown in fresh from Florida), a full bar, and attentive waitstaff. On Friday and Saturdayevenings they have a live piano player to add to the atmosphere. We ordered lobster ravioli and an amazing amaretto chickendish. We had a perfect martini and house Chianti. They do a table side Caesar salad that looked delicious. For dessert we had atiramisu which they make with an in-house coffee liqueur that you can also have as an after dinner drink. We had it and it wasdelicious. We also had their house made lemoncello. It was wonderful! They offer a table side prepared Bananas foster dessert -and we had that too! The proprietors, Walter and Candy are so gracious and hospitable. They visit the tables multiple times tomake sure you are having a wonderful experience! We did, and I?m sure you will too!! What a cute and friendly place! We were greeted by the owner and he walked us to our table and introduced our party to the... staff. Wonderful customer service! Loved the atmosphere! Great casual ?experience or could be a cute date night spot. Westarted with the Caesar salad prepared table side. I ordered the Branzino - Mediterranean Sea Bass - deboned table side. Servedwith roasted potatoes and mixed veggies. A friend ordered the Ossobuco. It was served with egg noodles. The portion was verygenerous! The meat completely fell off the bone. Another friend ordered Filetto di Bue con Spugnole - beef tenderloin withmorel mushrooms. She opted for asparagus and roasted potatoes instead of the mushrooms. Her portion was also quite generous. Thebeef was so tender! Drinks - Rum and coke, Ranch Water, and a limoncello martini. The limoncello martini wasoutstanding! Dessert was banana fosters. My first time trying it. I?m not a banana fan, but this was quite tasty and also madetable side. It was our first time at Little Venice. Not only was the food excellent but the experience and atmosphere wasdelightful! The wife wanted to go out to dinner on a Friday and she wanted Italian. We tried Little Venice and were not disappointed. ... Started with the Antipasto, then moved on to the Caesar Salad made fresh right in front of you. Added a bottle of deliciousItalian wine to sip on, then moved on to the main course. Wife had the Ossobuco and I tried the Impepata di Cozze. Both weredelicious. We topped it off with a little Angel Food cake with berries. I have only been to this place twice with my mother and my sister and it is very authentic! The menu changes every time you... go,the owner is very kind and hospitable and everything is homemade!The waiter will put a napkin on your lap for you and theyfrequently refill your water with fresh water! The salads and other dishes are made right in front of you! The salads are madeof egg yolk and sardines, which is very good if you haven't had it! I'm positive that the bread is homemade as everything thereis. My mom and sister were very impressed with the wine and also with the dessert. I had lobster ravioli and the sauce wasamazing and the clams seemed fresh! The restaurant,however, is $20-55 per plate, but it is worth it for a date, anniversarydinner, birthday etc! Read more
